It's Tam

Well, I guess it's time for a quick update. First, thanks to all of you for your love, prayers, good wishes, and patience over the last 5 weeks. It's been a difficult time but, at the end of the day, we are overwhelmingly grateful. Grateful that Kip is alive. Grateful for EMT's who know their stuff. Grateful for neighbors who keep an eye on each other. And grateful for real butter - it is not as abundant in our home as it used to be, but it is intensely appreciated on rare occasions.

Well Taylor, of course, ROCKS! Just found out yesterday that she got another 4.0 this term! It amazes me how she excels in school, sports, and texting - all at the same time. She is a true friend and a great daughter. She went to lunch with Nana and Gramps last weekend. It warmed my heart how she talked about it for days afterwards. Several times out of the blue she would say, "I just love Nan and Gramps." Love that.

Kaitlynn is VIP in her class this week. She is ALL OVER that! She made a poster of all of her favorite things, including the person that she most admires ("my sister"). I was invited to her class on Monday to show pictures and tell stories about her cute life. There she was sitting high on the VIP chair answering questions of her peers, as any good presidential candidate would. She has aspirations of being the first woman president, which will work out fine as along as Hillary doesn't win and the presidential outfits are stylin'.

April & May are big travel months for me, so I'll be on the go for a while. I'm off to Nashville this week, then Las Vegas, Orlando (vacation!), Denver, and Minneapolis. My Frequent Flier miles are getting up there, so I'm looking forward to being upgraded to First Class soon. I don't care about the elite status. I just want to be closer to the bathroom!

Love to all...

Tam
