Hi Family! I love being able to check out every one's lives...I finally feel like I'm in the loop! :-) So, we have a new addition to the Rivas Family!! We are very excited to introduce everyone to Lola. (Who thought I was going to say BABY?? Shame on you---we've only been married 6 months! :-)She is a 8 week old Havanese girl and is quickly becoming very spoiled with love from her parents. She came from a farm in Arkansas and was flown into DC last week. We made the HUGE mistake of letting her sleep in our bed for the first 6 days and now we are trying to crate train her to get our lives back! Oh my gosh...that dog has some lungs! I thought it was so cute that she would follow me around the house and lay on my feet, but now that she has to be alone for her training, it isn't so cute! I actually took a conference call (I work at home)in my car in the driveway so the others on the phone wouldn't be able to hear her! So much for getting my life back...
I now realize why puppies are SO dang cute....so you keep them until they grow out of the puppy phase! :-)
I love you all and hope to see you soon. Joe and I plan on coming to Utah for some intense snowboarding this winter, so we will have to plan some family fun. Mick- I'm a lot better then I was when we went with my Dad a few years ago...I promise it will be more fun (although I remember you going home with your friends that day...good choice, I think I was on my tail 87% of the time!)
