Napolean Light

Hi Everyone!

Well I managed to escape the clutches of the Russian mafia and am now in the world of Napolean Dynamite. The movie I'm doing now is called "Gentlemen Broncos" and is written and directed by Jared Hess who is the same guy who wrote and directed "Napolean Dynamite". I worked with Jared years ago when he was just a 19-year-old camera intern and hadn't seen him since until we started this film. I hadn't realized until we met again a few weeks ago how much like Napolean he actually is - think, Napolean Light - he says much of the same kinds of things as Napolean would and has somewhat of that same voice, only Jared is actually much more animated and intelligent.

We laugh much of most filming days. The mom in the film is based (almost EXACTLY) on Jared's mom. She is kind of crazy, very sweet, very religious and very naive. She also apparently thinks she narrowly escaped being killed by Ted Bundy years ago. I put it this way because Jared can't get through the whole story of his mom telling him that without laughing. So apparently the story's validity is somewhat in question as far as he's concerned. Funny.

And now I would like to say that I'm so proud of Andrea I almost wet my pants! The marathon, school (she's kicking butt, although she won't admit it), and now the beating up of the mean man for the T-shirt (this is actually the part where almost wetting my pants came in)! If I'm ever at a game (or in a bar fight) I want her with me!!
