So Far Behind!

Hello Everyone!! So this is Taylor and I am so sorry that I am so far behind in the blogging. I have been busy lately! :D So let's see I think I will start with telling you about the play. I was in my school play Guys & Dolls. It was SOOOO much fun! I had a blast! For any of you that have seen the play, I was in the mission band. I was excited until I found out that I had to put about a GALLON of GEL in my hair!! It was so gross. We had to put my hair back in a low bun and gel the rest of it back and not only did we use the gel they also used hairspray so my hair ended up being as hard as a rock. Also, they put SO much makeup on my face that when I took a shower to wash the makeup off, the water in the shower would turn colors! Even with all the gel and makeup it was still probably the best experience ever! Next, my vacation to Florida. It was FANTASTIC!! It was so nice to go on vacation. We went to Universal Studios. They have two different parks to go to and we went to both. First we went to Islands of Adventure. The Hulk is my favorite ride! You are constantly going into loops and corkscrews. Another great ride was one called Dueling Dragons. If you have ever been to Lagoon and have been on the bat this ride is like that except you do loops and corkscrews too. Not only that but there are two roller coasters going at the same time on this ride on different tracks and at some points in the ride you come as close as one foot from hitting the other coaster. It's great! I had so much fun! Then we went to Universal. I had just as much fun there! A lot of rides in Universal were more motion simulator rides but I like and have no problems with them. My parents on the other hand had to close their eyes on most of those because they were getting sick. They kept going though and I am pretty sure that they had just as much fun as Kaity and I did. We almost had a crisis though while we were there. We had gone on a water ride and so I got wet and so I took my phone out of my pocket and my mom told me that her back pocket was dry and that she would hold it while we all went on the next ride which also happened to be a water ride. We sit down on the ride and it is one of those river rafting rides and the first wave of water of course comes in our rafty thingy and gets my mom's butt soaked. So she takes my phone out of her pocket and just holds it and she ends up getting the wettest. Luckily, I have smart parents who know what to do and my mom turns off my phone and then it didn't work for days and I was not very happy, but we did everything right and it works now!!! WHEW!!!! Let's see what next, oh yes, softball! To anyone that would like to come to some games let me know and I will get you a schedule. My team is doing great! We have won every game except for one and that game we only lost by one. Unfortunately, there are only four teams in my age group so i end up playing the other teams 5 times each. Even though it is like that, I still LOVE to play! I have friends on the other teams too, so it's all good!! This year I play 3rd base! It's really funny because I have never played 3rd before, so this is a good and new experience. In the last game that I played, we were losing for most of the game but caught up in the top of the last inning. The other team was up to bat last and so they had a chance to catch up to my team or even win. There was one out and a runner on first, the girl that was up to bat hit the ball in the air right to me, and I caught it (so the batter was out) and threw the ball to first, and the girl that was on first to begin with didn't get back to her base fast enough and I got her out too! I was so happy, it was my first double play ever!! The last thing I will tell you about so you can get on with your lives is that I was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society. I was chosen based on scholarship, leadership, service, character, and citizenship. Next year when I am in ninth grade (holy crap) I will be doing service projects and things like that for my community. I am so excited! Well I love you all and hope to see you soon! Can't wait for the 4th of July!
