Invitation to President Obama from Tam

As requested, here is the invitation I sent to The President:

Dear President Obama,
I would like to invite you and your family to join us for our annual 4th of July BBQ. Although my husband has been laid off and things are a little tight, we feel it is important to continue family traditions, pull together as a family unit, and celebrate the birth of this great nation regardless of tough times. It would be our honor to have you and your family join us.
I promise you a great time where you can relax and enjoy a cold beer (if you'd like) and a hot burger. Contrary to popular belief, you CAN get a beer in Utah! Don't be nervous about coming to a Red state - we like you here. Even my parents, who are in their seventies and staunch Republicans, voted for you.
I want to express my gratitude for all your hard work. I appreciate that you hit the ground running and that you don't make excuses -- you call it the way that you see it, and you aren't afraid to tick people off in fighting for the greater good of the Country. You seem to be a man of honor and integrity, and I am grateful that you are our President.
So, hop on Air Force One and swing by our family gathering on July 4th. Dinner is at 6:00pm, followed by some water fun (my 10 year old daughter wants to splash around with your girls), shooting hoops (my 15 year old daughter is pretty darn good so you'd better bring your A game), and fireworks in the street when the sun goes down. I promise to keep my multi-generational, diverse family from grilling you on policy so you can relax , if even for just a few minutes, and celebrate together how lucky and blessed we really are.
With warmth and the greatest respect,
Tamara Noyes
