San Diego

Hello Everyone; Thanks, Michele for the beautiful pictures of Oregon in full fall bloom!! How did Heather do in the October running for first place? I couldn't find the page to vote so I think I may have been too late and I would have gladly voted. She's always No.1 in my book!! We had a lovely vacation in San Diego and especially enjoyed the day at the beach in Oceanside. Beautiful weather in the low 80's and good fish and chips! It was great to see Stephanie and Joe and Lisa was a beautiful bride and she and Josh were very happy. It was fun be with Corey and Syl and her family and all our Utah daughters.Katie and I had fun dancing at the reception and we loved watching Taylor dance with her dad. Those are the good times!! I returned home with thoughts of putting my nose to the grindstone for the ward Christmas activity on December 13th. I'm in charge of "Christmas Around the World" but I do have help from many people which is a good thing cos creativity is not my strongpoint. I do know how to delegate though. We are doing a full out North Pole with Santa as well as stops in Italy, Chile,French speaking Canada, Israel, Denmark and Saudi Arabia so far. We are also using the ward youth as elves to help keep the flow going and assist in the countries. Should be fun! I had one week of no responsibilities at the temple before going on vacation so I wll be back this week and Dad is returning also since his leave of absence The we have two weeks off for temple cleaning and Thanksgiving and then we're off and running again. I really enjoyed the one week with no worries. Life is good. Be happy. Mickey will be home a week from tomorrow. Yipee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
